HEAD FOR THE HILLS, I HAVE Blepharitis. lol I need to soak my eyes with a warm cloth (which I had been doing) and then wash my eyelash pores with a Q-tip and water/J&J Baby shampoo 4X aday. Thank goodness it's such an easy process. I can't wait for them to heal. They are as red as tomatos and burning. This is so painful! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blepharitis
Here are my eyes 3 after 3 days of cleaning. As it is an easy process, it sure is painful. My eyes don't look as red in the photo as they do in real life, but you can certainly see the swelling. Today my right eye is very painful,yesterday it was my left. (pic is above - just learning the new upload/picasa process, bear with me :) )
I hope this clears up soon. Still unsure whether this is a result of my oral chemo drug Terceva.

ReplyDeleteVelda, my daughter had that last week. Her eyes liked like she was on a binge for weeks. The white of her eyes were red red. She took a penicillin which the doctor gave her and it burned for the first 2 applications and is clearing up now. Pink eye is going around also. Hers would have gone into pink eye if she has not caught it early. Hope yours gets better soon Velda, take care, maybe see you again at Carmelinda's, we go on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Thanks Sharon, not pink eye for sure, but similar, very very painful. Doesn't affect the eyeball just the eyelash pores. Hope to see you again soon too.

Also Velda, she used tea bags after she drank the tea of course, and the doctor said that is why it didn't go into Pink Eye. You have white eyes though, its your lids. Hers was the white of the eyes.
