One of my dearest friends sent this to me this morning.   As I said to her, this video is dead on (NOT a pun, just the truth)   from the cold chills, hot sweats, I take every medication mentioned, warm blankets in the hospital during chemo are your friend, and sometimes your enemy, itching,pain while serums are injected.   I couldn't have described a chemo session any better than this patient in his video. I officially have my final resting place chosen and a down payment put down. The space I chose is on a columbarium which is basically a column with niches and a plaque on the front.  The front will be engraved by Kingston Monuments.

I have also made all the plans for my funeral service. I am so glad to get this all done, it's a load off my mind.

Health wise I am doing well. No new tumors, no pain, just a little tired.

well I finally got back into blogger. so things have been busy.I have been making my final arrangements so that it's all done and then I can relax.

I have finished plans for the cemetery,chosen the reverend,decided on the funeral home, coffin,music and where the chapel service will be. People may think I am odd or strange, maybe even a little crazy and perhaps I am, but I feel so good to have this opportunity to make my own arrangements the way I want them rather than leaving it to someone else. I even get to make my own purple pillow :). Well I guess that is all and I may have very few updates. I don't have any appointments until march so I hope things stay quiet until then.

Visit to cemetery turned out well. Cost was good. listen to this.....i will be in section E2 on the south side with lots of sunshine.I will be overlooking the babies portion of the graveyard -----me, the angel, overlooking the babies....it was meant to be


Today is funeral home day. I feel very at home as I know the owner/director personally...again excited in a weird way to get this all set up and in order.We chose my coffin and I will be making my own purple pillow since all the linings are white.

I decided on cremation as it is the least expensive. There will be music, photos and other paraphenalia in the room. We have decided on 2 viewings, an afternoon and an evening.


I also called the monument place and we spoke about what I wanted on the stone niche.I feel very at ease with everything we have accomplished.

I have been unable to log in to blogger  for a little while so I have started a second one to continue this journey.

In the last could days i have gone to the funeral home, the graveyard, talked to the monument company and spoke to a priest.

the funeral home we arranged my desires.there will be music and photos and flowers, and i am just sad that i won't get it see how it is.

we got top see caskets. did you know you rent a casket if you are being cremated/ SO i have done that and plan to work on my funeral card and obituary in the next week.
